Purdue Global Law School JD graduates may choose to sit for the California Bar Exam, Connecticut Bar Exam, or — upon approval of a waiver petition by the Indiana Board of Law Examiners — the Indiana Bar Exam. Below are projected expenses for these exams. You should assume you must take the bar exam in person, and factor in travel and lodging costs accordingly. There may be other fees associated with the process for admission to practice, including fingerprinting, which are not listed below because of the variance in cost.
Nearly all JD graduates who seek a law license should anticipate the following fees in any jurisdiction:
Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE): Registration fee $160
Bar Exam Registration Fee: Cost will vary by state.
Moral Character Interview: Cost will vary by state.
Bar Review Program: Approximately $750–3,000 (Purdue Global Law School students receive a significant reduction on a commercial bar preparation program.)
